08.18.10 – Proctor Training Now Available as Online Course.
Individuals needing to complete Proctor training and certification can now complete the course and assessment online through Emprowise. Before, Proctor training was administered through a weekly phone and computer conference. The online Proctor Training course allows an individual to schedule and complete the course and assessment at their own convenience. The OQSG Proctor Training course explains the expectations for acting as a proctor and ensuring valid assessments.
07.17.10 – OQSG is now offering Partial Skills Assessments in OQVerify.
This means companies can schedule separate components of a Skills Assessment that are more job-specific to an employee’s position. By scheduling only certain assessments, individuals can complete assessments that pertain to his/her covered task. In the past, operators and contractors were only allowed to schedule entire Skills Assessments.
06.29.10 OQSG Releases New Functionality for OQVerify
Starting now, OQSG can host other courses in the OQVerify system. With plans to host partial skills assessments and safety courses, OQSG is dedicated to easing your burden by going beyond Operator qualification. In addition to improving the functionality of OQVerify, OQSG has also changed the desktop application. The new and improved OQV5 desktop application automatically pulls down any necessary updates and courses, creating a more efficient system.
02.05.10 - OQSG Announces Call for Resellers. OQSG is now accepting resellers of their compliance system, proctor, and evaluator services, in order to further expand its market reach. Emprowise is the host for this course that discusses some of the dangers and potential hazards for exposure to Hexavalent Chromium (HC). HC is identified as a carcinogen with health hazards that can be disabling and deadly. Information discussed in this 12 minute lesson includes exposure limits, requirements for air monitoring, proper selection and use of PPE. Hexavalent Chromium is available on the Emprowise site for a pay-per-view price of $15.00.
